Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy annual brahmotsavams 2011 April 1-9

The TTD EO Sri IYR Krishna Rao has released the poster of the annual brahmotsavams of the famous temple of Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy at Tirupati on Tuesday which is slated to take place from April 1 and 9 on a grand note.

 According to inscriptions, Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple was constructed by Narasimha Mudaliyar in the year 1480AD. The temple management of TTD has been organising the nine-day brahmotsavams in this centuries old temple for years in a large scale.

The nine-day brahmotsavams in the famed temple of Lord Sri Kodanda Rama will commence with Dhwajarohanam on April 1. While the other important days include Garuda Seva on April 5, Rathotsavam on April 8, Chakrasnanam on April 9. The mega event concludes with Dhwajavarohanam on April 9.

After brahmotsavams, the Sri Rama Navami celebrations will be performed with religious fervour on April 12, followed by Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 13, Sri Rama Pattabhishekam on April 14 and three-day Teppotsavams from April 15 to 17.

Along with TTD EO, Tirupati Joint EO Dr.N.Yuvaraj, Tirumala Joint EO Sri K.Bhaskar, CVSO Sri MK Singh, FACAO Sri Bhaskar Reddy and HDPP Secretary Sri K.Venkat Reddy also participated in the brahmotsavam poster release that took place in TTD Administrative Building.
