Astottara Sathakundathamaka Maha Santhi Yagam is a typical form of fire sacrifice performed to please the deities for providing peace, prosperity and happiness for the mankind. It is also a process of propitiating the deities who look after the various aspects of human welfare, the TTD has been organising similar programme whenever the instances of deities and catastrophe are citied are signalled by the pundits. It is a good fortune that Lord Venkateswara is pleased to fructify the objectives of the Yaga. This time with 108 Yaga kundas, the Maha Santhi Yaga is being organised at Srinivasa Mangapuram.
The Hon’ble Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju has today prayed Lord Venkateswara Swamy for well being of the state and country. The Chairman has participated in “ASTHOTTARA SATHAKUNDATHMAKA MAHA SANTHI YAGAM” organized by TTD in Srinivasa Mangapuram near Tirupati. The Chairman took “Sankalpam” for the good of state on this sacred occasion as the 108 Rithviks recited Vedic mantras and performed Purnahuthi, also performed snapana tirumanjanam to Sri Chakrathalwar.Sri L.V.Subramanyam, Executive Officer, TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri Venkatrami Reddy, TTD Officers Sri Sudhakar Rao, Sri Nageswara Rao, Smt. Jhansi Rani, Sri Gopalakrishna, TTD Vaikhanasa Agama Advisor Sri Vedantam Vishnu Battacharyulu, Srinivasa Charyulu and 150 Veda pundits participated in the Yagam.
