The Divine vehicle on which Goddess Padmavathi is carried is called Pedda Seshavahana and is believed to be the manifestation of Adisesha, the thousand-headed serpent King on whom Lord Sri Maha Vishnu has taken ride Serpent ‘Adi Sesha’. The pilgrims were blessed to see the Goddess on this celestial vahanam on the second day morning of the Brahmotavams on November 22 which took place between 8:00am to 9:30am. There is a strong belief among the pilgrims that a glimpse of Goddess on the procession of the serpent vahanam will bring salvation and that there will be no re-birth.
